My Purpose, His Plan
The year 2019 will be marked by my return to full-time teaching in the fall after being a full-time stay at home mom for the past four years.
One of the strongest callings God has placed on my life is beckoning me back by promising me love and light in helping students with their daily struggle to succeed. As I pivot from my life being entirely about the care of my family towards adding “Full-Time Teacher” to my repertoire, I’m learning how crucial it is to control where my mind goes when fears pop up about the adjustment in returning to a full-time job or landing the job I desire.
I have never been so attuned to 2 Corinthians 10:5, “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ,” as I am right now. I wanted to share in case anyone needed this exact message this morning.
Living and walking in this verse is helping me to be my best self as I slowly take God’s lead towards what is sure to be a beautiful second act of my teaching career.
These experiences I have with scripture drive me to design scripture lined bags, which help remind people to give their worries to God. Have a blessed Sunday, I will be cherishing every moment.
